Every day, more than 16,000 children under age 5 die, mostly from preventable causes. Every year, an estimated 2.7 million children don't live past their first 28 days. Your gift today will multiply 4X to provide healthcare and food to mothers and children — and help save the most vulnerable lives.

World Vision has centered our health strategy on mothers and young children, with an emphasis on nutrition and tackling infectious diseases — the main cause of maternal and child mortality. We use basic medicines, supplies, ready-to-use therapeutic food and other interventions to prevent and treat illnesses such as diarrhea, malaria, and pneumonia at the community level.

By providing efficient and cost-effective interventions — like treated mosquito nets, feeding programs, nutrition training, basic childbirth and newborn education, and care to mothers and pregnant women — we can reduce infant deaths and decrease the number of mothers falling ill or dying as a result of complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

Please give generously to help save lives today.

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.

The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
