Help U.S. families.

People across the United States are being impacted by the skyrocketing costs of basics like food and utilities. These challenges are pushing many already-struggling families into poverty and hunger. You can help with a Family Emergency Kit, which includes a week’s worth of food for a family of five, along with hygiene items, educational resources, and more.

NFL player Kelvin Beachum Jr. knows what it means for a family to get a boost in hard times. “I was a kid who benefited from federal feeding programs and now I am blessed to have a platform and resources to pour blessings into others,” he says. “I want to inspire giving that shows Christ’s love — so parents don’t have to make the tough choice between electricity and dinner for their kids.” Now Kelvin wants to equip others to stay afloat, so he’s supporting World Vision to help reach people with Family Emergency Kits.

Your gift of $75 can deliver a Family Emergency Kit that includes the following basic necessities:

  • Nutritious fruits and vegetables, protein, pasta, rice, and cereal to feed a family of five for one week
  • School supplies like color crayons, erasers, scissors, glue, and more
  • Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and first-aid antiseptic
  • Paper products including toilet paper and paper towels
  • Books, board games, and coloring books

With your gift today, you can show the love of God to kids and families in the U.S. by providing urgent resources that can help them weather financial challenges.

Our Commitment

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.

The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
