Bring hope to Syrians amid compounded crises.

The February 2023 earthquake that struck Syria devastated the country’s already-fragile health system, and aid to desperate survivors was badly hindered by political instability. Prior to the quake, violence in northwest Syria had escalated to new levels, creating the worst humanitarian disaster there since the conflict began 12 years ago.

Over 5 million people, many of them children, have fled the country, and even more have been displaced within Syria. Parents are risking everything to get their kids to safety, but freezing winter conditions and lack of shelter are putting them in mortal danger. These families have already been made vulnerable by years of crisis, violence, economic downturn, and multiple displacements.

World Vision staff in Syria are working tirelessly to help protect vulnerable children and families. Your donation will help provide desperately needed essentials like shelter, clean water, access to life-saving medical care, and protection for women and children — who are especially susceptible to exploitation in overcrowded camps with limited economic opportunities.
