Support children made vulnerable by conflict.
Since the start of the war in February 2022, our staff in Romania, Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine have been working to meet the needs of displaced and vulnerable children and families. Estimates are that there are 24 million people in need from the ongoing conflict. With violence now part of the fabric of life, children are faced daily with uncertain, dangerous, and challenging circumstances. Millions are suffering mentally and physically from loss, displacement, family separation, and deprivation.
Access to basic needs such as food, water, sanitation, hygiene, and shelter continue to be critical for more than 8 million refugees, displaced families, and those who remain in areas directly affected by the conflict. And women and children are bearing the brunt of this crisis.
Your gift can deliver essentials like food and shelter assistance and support for education and livelihoods — as well as child protection and psychosocial services to help address the very real mental and emotional impacts of ongoing exposure to war and violence.
At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
