More DetailsYou can bring hope to refugee children like those who have settled in Bangladesh.
Today, a record 70 million people — half of them children — have been forced from home by violent conflict, famine, war, and natural disasters. Imagine spending your childhood in a refugee camp: being unable to attend school, having no permanent home, living in danger of malnutrition, disease, and exploitation.
In Bangladesh, nearly 900,000 people from Myanmar – most of them identifying as Rohingya, a minority ethnic group – now make up the largest refugee camp in the world. About 55 percent of the refugees are children.
You can show God’s love to these vulnerable kids and families, right where they are. And thanks to public grants, your gifts will multiply 4 times in impact!
You’ll give refugee families in Bangladesh and around the world support for a brighter future by providing essentials like:
- Access to healthcare, clean water and nutritious food
- Shelter and emergency supplies
- Survival packs for new refugee camp arrivals
- Dignity kits for women and girls that include clothing, hygiene products, and baby care items
- Safe places for children to play and learn
- Protection for children vulnerable to exploitation
Monthly giving: the simple way to make your donations do more.
Monthly giving is the most effective way to help the children and families who need it most. It lowers costs, which means more of your gift helps kids — plus your gift is multiplied every month! Your donations will be delivering the right solution at just the right time. And while you’re changing lives, you’ll get to see the power of your generosity through quarterly updates and World Vision magazine.
Our Commitment
At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
