Every child deserves to experience the love of Jesus.

Jesus showed us that children are blessings to be protected, guided, and nurtured when he said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14, ESV).

Loving and caring for children is at the core of who are at World Vision. We believe that the success of a community is inseparable from the well-being of its children. We desire to see every child grow in their understanding of Jesus’ love—and experience life in all its fullness.

After more than 75 years of serving the poor around the globe, World Vision has found that success in the spiritual well-being of children is built on three foundations. The same we all needed to grow our faith in Jesus. Children need to be:

  • Nurtured by parents.
  • Supported by pastors, other Christian leaders, and teachers.
  • Enabled and empowered through child and youth ministry programs.

World Vision provides Christ-centered support to equip local churches with the skills, resources and training needed to help children, families, and communities experience the love of Jesus.

Your gift will help World Vision to:

  • Equip churches with biblically based materials and resources.
  • Train Sunday School teachers and youth ministry leaders on creating programs that engage children’s interest and explore Jesus’ purpose for their lives.
  • Establish ministry and mentoring programs, and Bible clubs for children and youth.
  • Partner closely with local churches worldwide to strengthen their reach and impact for Jesus.
  • Provide Bibles to churches and families so they can read the Word daily.

With your help, World Vision plans to engage 46 million people in 49 countries, with Christian discipleship activities and tools to support the spiritual nurture of children, including training 500,000 local pastors and leaders to multiply the impact of local churches.

Our Commitment

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.

The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
