No child should die of a preventable disease.
Since 1990, the number of children who die each day has dropped by half. That means millions more kids are surviving past the critical age of 5. We’re making progress! Yet still more than 16,000 children younger than 5 still die every day — most from easily preventable causes including diarrhea, pneumonia, birthing complications, and malaria. And thanks to grant funds, your gifts will multiply 4 times in impact!
Your gift can bring essential medical care to mothers and their children, providing life-saving resources such as:
- Health monitoring and malnutrition interventions, with a focus on the critical first 1,000 days of a child’s life
- Support to ensure that children receive essential vaccinations
- Care for expectant moms and newborns
- Medicine for clinics
- Critical training for parents and health workers
Efforts like these make a significant, measurable difference in keeping kids healthy and thriving.
When you give monthly or yearly:
Your regular gifts help us plan for the long term and enable you to make an even bigger difference.
You’ll also experience the joy of seeing the impact of your ongoing support through updates and stories.
And as a special thank-you, we’ll send you our award-winning World Vision magazine! This beautiful, inspiring publication will show you the power of your charitable investment through stories from the field, photos, and prayer requests.
At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
