The largest global hunger crisis in modern history has left 30 million children dangerously malnourished, threatening their health, hope, and futures. This crisis is being stoked by conflicts and violence, extreme weather events, sharply rising costs, and lingering pandemic effects that have a devastating impact on vulnerable communities. But this bleak reality of millions of children and families facing hunger and starvation doesn’t have to be the end of the story.

World Vision is responding in 28 of the hardest-hit countries, and our track record is one of success. By the grace of God, over the last 10 years, 89% of the severely malnourished children we treated made a full recovery.

We are also the World Food Programme’s (WFP) largest global distribution partner and a preferred partner of the USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance. That means we’re able to reach remote locations and help those whom others may be unable to.
