Disaster Relief in the USA

Urgent Disaster Relief in the USA

World Vision is positioned and equipped to respond to disasters across the United States. Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma are the most recent emergencies World Vision is responding to through partnering with churches to provide vital supplies and support.

When disaster strikes, World Vision is often one of the first organizations to respond. Our relief workers connect with partners – including churches – in affected regions to help hard-hit communities. We are continually preparing for the next disaster by equipping our field sites and partners to help those affected by tornadoes, floods, storms, wildfires, and other disasters across the country.

World Vision also stays long after disasters have faded from the headlines, in order to help communities rebuild. Please give generously to help your fellow Americans.

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.

The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
