58 million primary-school-age children are not enrolled in school; 53 percent of these are girls. These children are at greater risk for exploitation, child marriage, and lower income-earning potential. We address barriers to education and work with communities and local governments to improve the quality of education children receive. Partner to support World Vision’s programs in Education and help us ensure children are prepared for school and that their attendance and educational outcomes are supported by their families and communities. We work to:

  • Train teachers and support the development of local, age-appropriate curriculum
  • Ensure girls and children with disabilities have equal access to education
  • Empower parents to advocate with their government to support education
  • Expand preschool opportunities
  • Provide programs that support education in the midst of humanitarian crises

Our Commitment

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.

The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
