Every year, one million babies die on the day of their birth. Hundreds of thousands of women also die during pregnancy or childbirth because they can’t access appropriate healthcare. And lack of nutritious food in the developing world is a major factor in the child-health crisis. When children are sick or malnourished, they can’t succeed at school or have an opportunity to build a better future for themselves.
- $350 provides $3,500 in life-saving medicines for children and families.
- $660 ensures 22 children receive proper nourishment so they can experience normal, healthy growth and development.
- $3,000 helps 120 women access prenatal care, safe delivery services and postnatal care.
Our Commitment
At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
