More DetailsSafe environments for our children to play, learn and dream is the goal for parents everywhere.
Parents in India want the same for their children, particularly in protecting them from child sex trafficking. A child’s best chance to thrive is through supportive and loving families and communities.
Your donation will help keep children safe from sex traffickers and restore the lives of children who have survived sexual exploitation through:
- Girl Power Groups teach and empower girls to support themselves and the other girls in their community.
- Men Care Groups activate men and fathers to protect their daughters and the other girls in their communities from sex trafficking and child marriage.
- Faith leaders are taught ways to share child protection methods to their community.
- Parents and families in the red-light districts learn to skills to celebrate families and promote healing and wholeness.
- Survivors of sexual exploitation will receive the support, recovery and care they need in reintegration.
Loving and supportive communities can and will protect their children before sex trafficking or any form of violence can happen to children.
A donation of $500 can provide 20 at-risk girls with the life skills needed to combat child labor and sex trafficking. And a donation of $1,500 can provide the creation and leadership for 166 men in Men Care Groups.
Your support will empower communities to keep children safe from sex traffickers and restore the lives of children who have survived sexual exploitation.
Our Commitment
At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
