Hope rises in Honduras and Guatemala<\/strong><\/h1>\n

No one wants to leave their family and home behind.<\/strong> But without a safe way to provide for their families, people in Honduras and Guatemala become desperate. Overwhelming challenges push them to seek hope elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Your partnership will give families in Honduras and Guatemala more reason for hope at home.<\/strong> Daily, they face heart-wrenching challenges\u2014poverty, violence, and a stark lack of opportunities\u2014that drive them to consider leaving home behind. Nearly 800,000 migrants from these countries came to the southwest border of the U.S. in 2023 and 2024\u2014searching for a better life.<\/p>\n

People should not have to leave home to find hope, peace, and opportunity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Vision has been working in Honduras and Guatemala for 50 years, and we\u2019ve seen God transform lives through our programs. By His grace, we will expand our efforts, reaching 4.8 million* people by 2030<\/strong> with resources to overcome the root causes of poverty and violence.<\/p>\n
