By supporting essential health and nutrition services for children and their moms, you help protect lives\u00a0starting\u00a0with a healthy\u00a0pregnancy. And because of public grants, your gift will be multiplied\u00a05\u00a0times to expand prevention, treatment, and long-term care that saves lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"817\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Your gift will support:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"845\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Essential maternal, newborn, and child health care during the critical first\u00a01,000 days, including prenatal, birth\u00a0preparedness, and postnatal care for moms and newborns\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1021\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Safe delivery of essential vaccinations, along with vitamin supplementation and deworming to protect children\u2019s health\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1146\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Community health workers\u00a0trained\u00a0and equipped to prevent,\u00a0identify, and treat common childhood illnesses, including malaria, pneumonia, and diarrhea, close to home\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1317\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Prevention, detection, and treatment of infectious diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV, including care and support for orphans and vulnerable children\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1486\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Nutrition support that improves infant and young child feeding, dietary diversity, and healthy behaviors through education, care groups, and mobile tools\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1646\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Stronger community health systems, including referral networks that connect families to clinics and ensure continuity of care\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"ak-ul\" data-indent-level=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1778\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Training and mobilization of faith leaders and community leaders to promote healthy behaviors, reduce stigma, and encourage use of essential health services\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can help kids stay healthy and thrive.
