- Philippines - Typhoon Ketsana and Parma have affected more than half a million people in the Philippines. As many as 300 people are reported to have died and thousands have lost their homes.
- Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos - More than 400,000 people have been impacted by Typhoon Ketsana in South Asia. More than 100 people have been killed and hundreds others are injured.
- India - A devastating monsoon has affected more than 20 million people in India, killing at least 300 people and leaving tens of thousands homeless.
