In Lesotho (a small country within Africa), an unprecedented number of adults have died from AIDS leaving behind children who must fend for themselves. Even more children are impacted and left vulnerable.
Children who are orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV and AIDS often suffer from social, economic, and psychological problems. Many of them drop out of school to care for younger children and cannot access health services or find adequate food. In Sekameng, Lesotho there are currently 324 orphans.
