Here are some of the areas where World Vision is currently providing emergency relief:

• Indonesia — The 7.6 magnitude earthquake damaged 100,000 homes and killed at least 704 people. World Vision is on the ground in Indonesia, providing emergency food, water, shelter and more.
• Philippines — More than half a million people have been affected by Typhoon Ketsana and Parma and an estimated 300 people have died. World Vision is working quickly to deliver food and necessities.
• India — The devastating flooding caused by a monsoon has impacted more than 20 million people and killed at least 300. World Vision teams are on the scene, assessing the damage and distributing supplies.
• Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos — More than 400,000 people are suffering after intense flooding caused by Typhoon Ketsana. World Vision emergency teams are working to provide lifesaving care.
• Samoa — A deadly tsunami has affected thousands of lives and left many homeless. With the help of partners in American Samoa, World Vision is providing emergency aid to victims.
• Sudan — Continuing to provide food, water and more to refugees.
• Horn of Africa — Distributing emergency food, water, medicines and more.
