No one should die from a mosquito bite, yet nearly 750,000 children around the world under the age of 5 die from malaria each year. Millions are suffering today from this preventable disease because they do not have access to simple malaria-fighting tools such as insecticide-treated bed nets, prevention education and access to health care to keep them healthy and strong. Your monthly gift today will help us provide access to health care and other necessities that will make a lifesaving difference in the prevention and treatment of malaria.
World Vision is working around the world to address the problems of malaria. Malaria is a disease that can be prevented with relatively simple and inexpensive solutions. We are helping to supply children and families with bed nets to keep away disease-carrying mosquitoes, educating parents on the best ways to prevent and treat the disease, and advocating for an increase in U.S. government funding. Along with prevention and education, we are providing access to health care that is needed to treat malaria and other similar diseases in vulnerable communities.

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
