Loveness considers herself a lucky child. The reason for this perception is simple. In the midst of so many who are unable to attend school because they have no one to support them, 12-year-old Loveness has a sponsor who meets her needs. She says she feels indebted to the American couple, Debbie and Curtis Culver, who are her sponsors.

“I always think about them and I pray that God takes good care of them. They are really wonderful people and I think about them most of the time,” she says. Loveness keeps letters that the couple sends to her and displays them together with some other gifts.
