Nurse, Mary Mubiana, checks on Taonga, 6, a sponsored child, who is in first grade at the primary school. Taonga was coughing excessively and suffering from a headache and loss of appetite. Mary is checking on her temperature and getting blood samples to check for any malaria parasites in her body. Taonga’s mother, Marina Phiri, says her daughter has been ill for the past two days and after she saw that the situation was not improving, she decided to get her to the health centre, established by World Vision in the year 2002.
