Back to School Backpack
Yessenia is an 8-year-old girl who lives in the area where World Vision has their El Alfarero program. She was one of the 38,300 children who received a backpack to take to school, as part of the benefits provided by World Vision El Salvador in the area of education. Yessenia is in third grade in a small community, where 113 children go to school. “I have two backpacks, but I use the one World Vision gave me because I like orange color and because all of my classmates have a similar one,” she said.
