In World Vision’s La Bendición program in El Salvador, there is a club for youth between 13 and 20. Here, these adolescents learn about different topics, such as health, values, education, as well as a hands-on workshop they had been requesting— cosmetology for girls and barber skills for boys. Every Thursday, the Club site, which is the house of a local leader’s family, becomes a beauty parlor, where the creativity has no limits, and a barber shop, where the young boys can get a good hair cut.
