It is amazing to see the kids, ages 3 to 6, come to class with such joy and enthusiasm. They know that there will be something new to learn that day. “The children are happy to be here; sometimes they ask me if they can come on Saturdays,” says Edgardo Leon, the center’s director. “They learn by playing. There are some children who are shy or others who cry and after some days, they become outgoing, talkative and very diligent. Children from last year’s class are now in first grade and they are doing very well. This gives me satisfaction,” he said.
