Extreme poverty can lead to child abuse and neglect. In Nueva Esperanza there is a high incidence of physical and emotional mistreatment, abandonment, and children living in the streets. Your gift will help train community members who will guide and monitor high-risk families and spread God’s message of love for children and each other—as well as assisting in creating safe places and recreational activities for at risk children. As a child sponsor, you are connected with one special child who will write to you, and feel your tender love and prayers. Your child sponsorship monthly pledge of $30 will provide a child with things such as clean water, nutritious food, health care, educational opportunities, and spiritual nurture—and give hope and assistance to an entire community.
