Mafuza, 8, is a sponsored child. Her father works at a painting shop and her mother is a homemaker. She often receives letters, gifts and photos from her sponsor. “When I receive a gift I show to my neighbors and friends,” says Mafuza. “I write to my sponsor [too]. When my sponsor sent me these photos of her child, I kept them with me when I went to sleep,” she continues.
