As unemployment rises and safety networks fray, World Vision and its community partners are working tirelessly to help ensure children and families in the U.S. receive the vital basics they need to get back on their feet.
Your donation will help deliver top-quality donated products to struggling American families and single mothers — like Mary. To escape her violent and abusive husband, Mary fled with her three children and sought refuge at a World Vision-supported homeless shelter.
At the shelter, Mary and her children received medical supplies, hygiene products, and more, donated from World Vision. "I feel special," said Mary when she received these basics. "I feel appreciated."
Mary's son also receives play therapy at the shelter, using arts and craft supplies donated through World Vision. The therapy is especially important, since Mary's son has been diagnosed with autism.
